CONRAD CAINE opens a virtual exhibition with Siemens

Munich, 27 June 2015 - As part of the 300th anniversary of the city of Karlsruhe, CONRAD CAINE celebrated Siemens’ 115-year history at the location. To mark the occasion, the Munich agency conceived an innovative virtual exhibition “Tradition and Innovation. Siemens in Karlsruhe” based on Leap Motion technology. The city’s mayor Frank Mentrup and Conrad Caine jointly opened the exhibition in Karlsruhe Palace on 26 June. “I am delighted that Siemens has combined tradition and innovation in this virtual exhibition, making its company history accessible to everyone,” said Mentrup.

The virtual exhibition shows Siemens’ development in the city, from its first technical office in Karlsruhe to its roots in the region and importance around the world. According to project manager Vanessa Amler, the exhibition has numerous interactive components. “In the digital age the Internet is the future of exhibitions,” says Conrad Caine. “Leap Motion serves as a bridge between real and virtual space.” The exhibition can be seen online at www.siemens.de/Von-Tradition-und-Innovation.
